Zeiss VisuMax® FS

The Zeiss VisuMax® FS laser is a new alternative for bladeless corneal flap creation, offering more reliable outcomes than any blade-based LASIK technology available. In 2007, the Dishler Laser Institute – serving patients from Aurora, Englewood, and Denver, Colorado – became the first practice in America to offer this new LASIK technology.

Zeiss MEL 80™

Together with the VisuMax® FS, the Zeiss MEL 80™ is part of our state-of-the-art Zeiss Workstation. This excimer laser, developed by industry-leading optics manufacturer Carl Zeiss, Inc., is one of the fastest and most accurate available. Our Zeiss LASIK workstation takes advantage of PrecisePulse™ technology for unsurpassed precision in corneal reshaping.

Wavefront Imaging-Zywave & Zeiss i-profiler, Atlas pathfinder and Visante OCT

The Zywave and Zeiss equipment are parts of our wavefront diagnostic system. Before LASIK, we use this system to create a three-dimensional map of each cornea, identifying subtle irregularities in the corneal surface known as higher-order aberrations. This allows us to perform custom LASIK, adapting the treatment to correct these aberrations for clearer, sharper vision than ever before.
