Kim Brownfield

Kim Brownfield, O.D., has been practicing with Dishler Laser Institute since 2001.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in zoology from Iowa State University and then graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry with honors.  Dr. Brownfield has managed over 10,000 refractive surgery patients and had IntraLASIK herself in 2001.  She is an adjunct professor at the Illinois College of Optometry, lectures on new LASIK technologies, and has been a clinical investigator in multiple refractive surgery trials.  Dr. Brownfield currently resides in Greenwood Village, Colorado with her husband and two daughters.

Meagan J. Petraitis

Meagan J. Petraitis, O.D., joined Dishler Laser Institute in 2008 after graduating with honors from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago.  Prior to optometry school, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in microbiology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she also minored in Spanish.  During her clinical training, she completed a three-month LASIK internship at the Dishler Laser Institute and has experienced knowledge of pre- and post operative care of refractive surgery patients.  A perpetual student, Dr. Petraitis is passionate about education and plans to obtain her adjunct professorship from the Illinois College of Optometry.
