The "Hassle" of LASIK?
January 31, 2010 @ 11:23 AM — by Jon Dishler
Many people who are considering LASIK are tolerating but not enjoying wearing contact lenses. This is especially true for women who have problems with mascara getting under their contacts and irritating their eyes. It is also true for those who live in windy conditions, are outdoors often, or who are sensitive to having a foreign body in their eyes. It is this group who are most apt to consider LASIK but for the same reasons are most concerned about how post LASIK their lives will be altered. Beyond the discussion of results, risks, and costs, most patients consider the impact both short and long term that vision correction will play in their personal and professional lives.
