Doctor Dishler began performing LASIK in 1995 as the first doctor in Colorado, and the region to perform LASIK.  In 2000 he was the first to perform IntraLASIK, the all blade free LASIK procedure.  Over the years we have led in the laser vision correction field, including participation in numerous clinical studies, and being admitted to the organization "Trusted LASIK Surgeons."  Throughout this period, most of the patients that have been treated by Dr. Dishler have been referred to him by other doctors in Denver, Centennial, Aurora, and Littleton as well as Highlands Ranch and other areas in metro Denver.  Many patients have come from Boulder, Colorado Springs, Loveland, Fort Collins and mountain areas such as Aspen and Grand Junction.

Most of these patients were sent for the expertise and technology along with the caring attitude available at Dishler LASIK.  We have been located in the same place for almost 25 years, and continue to provide the latest care in our Colorado State licensed ambulatory surgery center.  Very few Laser vision centers provide their care at an ambulatory surgery center setting, and this is because this is largely unregulated so that almost anyone can set up a LASIK surgery facility at any location.

We at Dishler Laser have helped to train dozens of doctors in training, as an approved training site, and we have visiting doctors from around the country on a regular basis.  We have had doctors who perform LASIK from San Diego to North Carolina visit us to learn exactly what we are doing and how we do it to bring some of this expertise to their own practices.  We also learn from these visiting doctors, and work with experts from around the world.

Doctors trust us with their patients to determine if they are good candidates for vision correction, what procedure would be best for them, and to treat and follow up on their patients as required.  We rely on the patients own doctor to perform some of the care including the initial evaluation and longer term post operative care.

One area where a large number of patients visit us is from Wyoming from throughout this state to our north.  We also see patients from Kansas and Nebraska who travel here for their care.  We are honored to be able to help patients from such a wide range of locations in their quest for better vision.   We continually get letters thanking us for providing their vision correction, and these are available to be viewd at our office.
